Dwight Johnson

Dwight Johnson is Executive Director of Provider Contracting at Coopersmith Law + Strategy.

Dwight is the former head of provider contracting at Regence Blue Shield and the former head of hospital contracting at Premera Blue Cross.

He has negotiated on behalf of academic medical centers, major medical systems, community hospitals, and single and multi-specialty clinics of all sizes and specialties. His work has enabled Coopersmith Law + Strategy clients to achieve financial sustainability and thrive in highly competitive markets.

He is an expert in the most complex reimbursement methodologies and in value-based contracting models.

Dwight graduated cum laude from the University of Washington and was elected into the Phi Beta Kappa Honor Society. He holds a BA, MA, and MBA in Healthcare Administration from City University of Seattle and the University of California at Berkeley.
