Celina Schocken, MBA
Celina Schocken, MBA serves as a strategic advisor to Coopersmith Law + Strategy on global health financing and delivery as well as gender equity.
Celina previously worked with the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Good, Population Services International (PSI), Merck, the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB and Malaria, the Council on Foreign Relations, the Government of Rwanda and many others on medical device introduction, reproductive and sexual health, primary health care, HIV/AIDS, telehealth and technology.
A co-founder of TogetHER for Health, a global partnership fighting cervical cancer, Celina advises organizations including the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Global Good, the Children’s Innovation Fund Foundation (CIFF) and others on medical device introduction, reproductive and sexual health, cervical cancer, HIV/AIDS, telehealth and technology. She is the former CEO of Pink Ribbon Red Ribbon, a public-private partnership focused on cervical and breast cancer. She was also Director of Policy and Advocacy at Merck for Mothers and Director of International Organizations at Population Services International (PSI). Celina was a fellow at the Council on Foreign Relations, and Chief Advisor to the Minister of Health of Rwanda.
Celina received her juris doctor and master’s degree in public policy from the University of California, Berkeley, and a MBA from New York University, the London School of Economics and Political Science, and HEC Paris. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the University of Chicago.
Celina is based in Washington, DC and is fluent in French.
