Josh Shoemaker

Josh Shoemaker is a strategic advisor to Coopersmith LAw + Strategy for business development, technology, and commercialization. He advises a wide range of technology and health care organizations, from startups to Fortune 50 global companies. He’s an expert in product design, development, and product market fit.

Josh previously served as Chief of Staff for Washington Permanente Medical Group. He led initiatives on access and growth for the organization’s 900 primary and specialty care providers and ~400K patients.

Previously, Josh was a founding member at the Healthcare Incubation Lab at Premera Blue Cross, where he managed a portfolio of experiments to develop insight and offer health benefits recommendations related to alternate care models and provider-data integration.

Josh earned his MBA with a Healthcare Specialization from Baylor University and his BA in Educational Ministries from Seattle Pacific University.
