Michelle Terry, MD
Michelle Terry, MD is a strategic advisor to Coopersmith Law + Strategy for health care equity and access to care, hospital-based medicine, pediatric medicine, maternal-child health services, and physician advocacy.
Dr. Terry is a hospitalist at Seattle Children’s Hospital and a clinical professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine where she serves as the director of the pre-matriculation program for entering medical students, co-director of an advocacy elective, and the interim head of Olympic College.
She is the former chair of the Washington Medical Commission, which oversees physician licensing, policy, education and discipline, and is currently president of the King County Medical Society.
Dr. Terry is a past recipient of an Open Society Foundation’s Physician Advocacy Fellowship for her work increasing access to maternal child services in Washington.
Dr. Terry received her BA in Human Biology from Stanford University, MD from Baylor College of Medicine, and completed residency in pediatrics at the University of Washington.
